Handcrafted Modern is a dedicated e-commerce store for representing skilled makers working with traditional techniques from across the globe. An enduring appreciation for all things made manually, patinated and perfectly imperfect is carried throughout the brand language—from the makers mark to the typographic system.

A conscious step away from overly polished finishes, toward an embrace of tactile—the collection of printed matter was developed to honour the artisanship of HCM. The thank you card is letterpressed onto Fedrigoni Rust, selected for its recycled wood and cotton fibre content which provides a rich texture and visible threads. Housed inside an offset printed and origami envelope, hand stamped, which folds out into a reproduction of the Richard Serra Verb List.
